This first grade, organic Chinese green tea  from Teas Etc. is perfectly adorned with the essence of organic jasmine flower. This elegantly scented tea has a remarkably sweet finish with no perfume like taste, an unappealing, easily recognizable taste of overly scented Jasmine teas. The tender, young tea leaves are harvested in the early spring and undergo a traditional scenting process where the tea leaves are delicately layered with jasmine petals, allowing the two elements to marry. The tea takes on the floral aroma and sweet taste of the organic petals creating this exceptional cup. This process is repeated until the tea has reached perfection. The scented leaves are then rolled into "pearls".
